Anxiety

Anxiety is a normal reaction to stressful situations. But in some cases, it becomes excessive and can cause sufferers to dread everyday situations.

In some cases, physical ailments may develop:
• Common anxiety disorders:
• Panic Disorder
• Obsessive Compulsive Disorder
• Post Traumatic Stress Disorder
• Generalized Anxiety Disorder
• Acute Stress Disorder

Meditation, exercise, journaling, support systems, and positive relationships will all help to alleviate anxiety. Allow your mind to focus on positive thoughts and joyful images. Give yourself permission to stop and smell the roses  Breathe and allow your mind and body to de- stress.

There is help available through talk therapy or medication if needed.
